I do~
DeliciousCinnamon in general is pretty funny, imo I thoroughly enjoyed their Crash Bandicoot 2 LP (in fact it inspired me to do my own 100% run), but that's not this topic

Oreburgh Mine catchHeracles the Geodude lvl 8 Nature; Rash, often dozes off Ability; Sturdy (man if only Sturdy works like it does in gen5 that would be so good) I've been too busy wasting time and making things out of sculpey to do my Nuzlocke, so this is still about the only new thing that's happened. :c sorry to disappoint

Hmmm, it would have been better if you had found an Onix, but ok. You still have the area north of Oreburgh city. That is where you find Budew, aside from the are north of Jubalife City. Another pokemon north of Oreburgh is Machop. Have you evolved your starter yet?

Hilariously, an Onix was my second encounter. AFTER I had already caught Heracles.
I've been skimping on level grinding so no, Yggdrasil is still a Turtwig, but I'll get to doing that like /now/.
Route 207 catch Artemis the Ponyta lvl 7 Nature; Sassy, often dozes off Ability; Flash Fire

Yes, cause evolving your starter before you visit the second town is one thing, but you should evolve it in the gym, or before the gym. It is good you got a fire type. Keep that Ponyta on. And try to get ahold of a water type soon. If you think all of your pokemon are high enough level, bring them up another level or two. The sinnoh games have a habit of making it hard to be way head of the trainers.

I have returned from the land of not-here!
Level grinding a lvl 16 Pokemon on wild 'mons that are at most lvl 8 is BORING argh
Just two more levels and I'll have a Grotle, 'cmon, Yggdrasil, get all the EXP
Will update on the gym battle against Roark goes later.

I am playing Pokemon Red as unlocked, using ONLY my beginner pokemon for battles(Bulbasaur). However, you literally can't beat the game with one pokemon, but why you might ask: One pokemon cannot learn all HMs. So I will keep pokemon in my party JUST for use of HMs, but I will only battle with my beginner. I have beaten the second gym at level 30, which is overpowered. Also, people might mention that when I battle the elite four, my venasaur will be a hi level, but not high enough, and that it will become too difficult to raise its level. So, I am saving up all the rare candy I find, and when leveling up my venasaur takes WAAAAY too long, I shall feed it all the candy.

What I am saying is, when my Venasaur takes WAAAY too long to level up naturally, I will use my rare candies. Anyway, here is my progress: Beat Lt. Surge at level 38, and to give you and idea of how overpowered I am, his strongest pokemon was level 24. I am currently in Rocket hideout, and when I sweep those rocket men, I am heading to the Grass Gym. Florizarre's current level is 50, and I have only defeated 4 of the rocket grunts so far. After I have beaten the gym, back to the top of pokemon tower to sweep more grunts and bring Mother Marowak to rest.

This kind of play style sounds cool. Once I beat my game on Fire Red, I'll try to play the game that way.

How close are you to beating FireRed? I'm still in the beginning of the game. I'm currently trying to beat the 2nd gym leader. I was in the elite four before my sister deleted my game. -_-

Well, I beat Giovanni, and Erika, both have their strongest level pokemon at level 29, versus my level 54 Florizarre. I got to the end of the safari zone and got Hm Surf, and after talking to the guy, I pressed START to see how many steps I have. 0/500 left, like a boss. Anyway, a guy to the left of Nurse Joy in the Fuschia poke center says: "You can't win with just one strong POKéMON. It's tough, but you have to raise them evenly."
I beg to differ
