Planning on getting a 3DS for Studio 3D. But there are so many DS and DSi games I still want! Also Wii games. And there are something like 10 ps2 games I can name off the top of my head I still want, and lots I haven't beat. Al my problems would be solved if I could play more video games...

I got a new Playstation! It was my uncle and it's how I first got into gaming. It even has the copy of Spyro 1 that's the first game I ever played! I took it back home, connected it, and spent 2 days clearing the whole game! Ahhh.... now to replace mu copies of Spyro 2 & 3 with working ones. Maybe I'll get some other PS classics.

I love Spyro games! Especially the later two--although I'm more of a Crash fan.

The original trilogy developed by Isomiac is arguably the best of Spyro...
The GBA ones did very well to bring the experience to the handheld...
Enter the Dragonfly was a half-assed attempt by Activision to keep the old Spyro formula...
Hero's Tail changed it up a bit and was better...
The Legend of Spyro trilogy hurt me for being a reboot but it was still fun at times...
Skylanders killed me keeping up with the franchise mostly because it's expensive... It's really fun but I, and anyone else who still have any dignity for the franchise, HATE Spyro's new character design...
I see a potential to smoothly fix the entire series. The Legions and Skylanders can easily fit together via Dawn of the Dragon's ending and the Skylanders series can drop of into the original Spyro series but I doubt they're gonna take this opportunity due to the fact Skylanders became a hit and, just like they doing with Cod, they are probably going to exploit it 'till it's unrepairable.

I can't wait until CoD dies a slow, painful, quiet Guitar Hero-esque death...bwahaha. I never got very far in Hero's Tail or The Eternal Night (The only Legend game I have.) I also don't think Skylanders is very fun at all, it's a top-down Guantlet type game, painfully slow-moving and repetitive. (okay, I've only played one level but I've watched my brothers play their lives away with that game.) Also, evil marketing scheme is evil. Attack of the Rhynocs, I think it was called, was the best of the GBA games. Season of Flame was decent, but I got stuck in Season of Ice and couldn't be bothered to finish it. As for Crash... The original Naughty Dog trilogy was definitely his glory days, they played like a 2D platformer in 3D. Arguably holds up better than Super Mario 64. Crash Team Racing was an amazing kart racer, far better than Mario Kart any way you look at it. And many of its mechanics, (drift boosting/powersliding, jumping off ramps/tricks), were "borrowed" by later Mario Kart Games. Crash Bash was a fun little diversion of a party game. Wrath of Cortex tried to follow ND's pattern, but ended up lackluster...not bad, but not great. The GBA games for Crash (XS/Huge Adventure and N. Tranced) were fun and overall high-quality, but nothing incredible (although I spent a lot of time with N. Tranced.) Crash Purple and Spyro Orange are generally disliked, but I enjoyed them as a kid. (Spyro Orange a bit more than Crash Purple) Crash Nitro Kart tried to be Crash Team Racing but it was slower and heavier, and the framerate gave me a headache. (Also, Mario Kart 8 stole its antigravity gimmick.) Crash TwinSanity was so close to being great, but bugs and cut levels and the low level of the team's experience hurt it a lot. Crash Tag Team Racing was...weird, but fun in it's own way. Titans and Mind over Mutant are divisive, but they were good games and a lot of fun.
