@sforzando
"I can't wait until CoD dies a slow, painful, quiet Guitar Hero-esque death...bwahaha."
In all honesty, I actually like CoD but I agree that they should stop what they're doing.
"I also don't think Skylanders is very fun at all, it's a top-down Guantlet type game, painfully slow-moving and repetitive. (okay, I've only played one level but I've watched my brothers play their lives away with that game.)"
Lemme guess what level you played: The first one. It's pretty much a tutorial level, hence why it's slow moving. Trust me, the later levels are better and worth it. (Except for the ghost type levels)
"Attack of the Rhynocs, I think it was called, was the best of the GBA games. Season of Flame was decent, but I got stuck in Season of Ice and couldn't be bothered to finish it."
Agreed that AotR is the best one. Ice wasn't greatly made due to inexperience and fire made up for it.
"The original Naughty Dog trilogy was definitely his glory days, they played like a 2D platformer in 3D."
Just like Spyro. I only played the 3rd one: Warped and I loved it. I stilled preferred Spyro though...
"Crash Team Racing was an amazing kart racer, far better than Mario Kart any way you look at it. And many of its mechanics, (drift boosting/powersliding, jumping off ramps/tricks), were "borrowed" by later Mario Kart Games."
MarioKart64 came out in December 14, 1996 before Crash Team Racing in September 30, 1999 and it had drift boosting, jumping off ramps, items, and the such. Though I only played the demo, I'd say it's better than MK64. In my honest opinion MK64's overrated.
"Wrath of Cortex tried to follow ND's pattern, but ended up lackluster...not bad, but not great."
I rented it from Blockbuster years back and I thought it was really good. Just as good as the original 3 (with exceptions of course).
"The GBA games for Crash (XS/Huge Adventure and N. Tranced) were fun and overall high-quality, but nothing incredible (although I spent a lot of time with N. Tranced.)"
Agreed though I only have Huge Adventure...
"Crash Purple and Spyro Orange are generally disliked, but I enjoyed them as a kid. (Spyro Orange a bit more than Crash Purple)"
Same here.
"Crash Nitro Kart tried to be Crash Team Racing but it was slower and heavier, and the framerate gave me a headache. (Also, Mario Kart 8 stole its antigravity gimmick.)"
I wouldn't claim that MK8 is stealing it just yet. I doubt Nintendo even cares about that title. They probably got the idea from Super Mario Galaxy. When I was watching the trailer, Sonic Riders Zero Gravity popped in my head.
"Titans and Mind over Mutant are divisive, but they were good games and a lot of fun."
I only have Mind over Mutant but I have the same thoughts on it.
"But if you want to see something sad:

The graphics and style of this unreleased game are amazing, but it got tossed in the bin thanks to Activision. Hence why I hate CoD."
Dam strait. They should've finished it. We do need a new crash game... it's been 5 years!
P.S. This is your reason for hating CoD? Seem pretty irrational.
