I haven't been using it. I was waiting for it to have a profile system and it came sooner than I expected!

I haven't been using it. I was waiting for it to have a profile system and it came sooner than I expected! Also, what's up with it's taco thang? Think of it like the weekly topics Hatena used to have. Looks like taco is the topic for a little while. |

Ok well I couldn't figure out how to download the song so I've posted it with my flip. Click play on the music and then the flip (sometimes the music loads before the fight, sometimes the fight before the music; shouldn't be too hard to play them at the same time though).

Nintendo just announced today that the Wii, DS, DS lite, DSi, and DSi XL will no longer have running Wi-Fi servers after may 20,meaning you can say goodbye to anything on games and apps that used WiFi. For example, pokemon black and White will no longer have worldwide random battles. Also, the internet brows will go down too. I fear that you MAY not be able to connect to Sudomemo due to the lack of using WiFi on the DSi and XL

Sudomemo is not using Nintendo's servers. It'll probably still be up.

Yea, that's why I capitalized the word "may". I didn't know for sure if Sudomemo relied on Nintendo in some kind of way.

I feel like it might. If the DSi or any of the other known systems having this WiFi shutdown has a system update (which I kinda find unlikely I suppose?) I guess that could be a way to know.

Well, I'm going to throw you guys the same bone I gave my friends. Wi-Fi for DS and Wii games is dropping in use, and rapidly. Meanwhile, WiiU and 3DS Wi-Fi usage is increasing. It costs money to run the Wi-Fi servers, I'm going to establish that. People are no longer buying games on the DS/ for Wi-Fi gameplay, they are turning to the newer consoles. Why? Because these games are being replaced! Pokemon Black White provided a REAL step up on Wi-Fi gameplay. But now, pokemon X and Y have everything Black and White had, plus the ability to encounter passerby people around the world simultaneously, the aquantance list, the ability to trade or battle any online Passerby, Aquantance, and Friend. Wonder trade was also added. Super Smash Brawl USED to be the newest smash bro game, but that's been replaced. Mario Cart 7 replaces Mario cart 6. The list goes on forever. People no longer have a reason to buy Wii and DS games except for the main gameplay. Therefor, because these games are no longer being bought, Nintendo is losing money on running these servers. They aren't going to keep them up for the quickly decreasing number of people playing DS/Wii, or so that people can check their GTS status every 3 months. Nintendo is trimming very unhealthy fat. And I tell you, the 3DS has been out for a while now, and since then the older games dropped in buy rate, and even the Wii games were effected a little. And upon the release of the WiiU, everything older just dropped. I don't think I can get EVERYONE to agree with me, but Nintendo made a very reasonable decision.

Wii U is the new Virtual Boy. Why is everybody saying that? Virtual Boy was CRAP and deserved to be flushed down the toilet. If the Wii U deserves to be compared to any other console to show it's condition, it would be the Sega Dreamcast. Y'know, the console that, despite being awesome, was pretty inferior to it's compitition of the Gamecube, PS2, and the Xbox and didn't even last half of the generation. |

It seems to me though that this kid doesn't seem to know enough about programming and managing a real server. He should have known that it would be expensive to keep a server up and running; that was why Hatena got shut down in the first place.
