Notice Regarding RP Threads

This is a message to those users who currently participate in RP threads. I have decided that RP's, while perhaps fun, are not the purpose of the forum. As such, all RP threads and the RP board will be locked and archived this Friday, September 6. Users who wish to continue RP's may do so on another web service, or via private messages. (Just remember that even PM's are subject to the Proboards Terms and Conditions, as well as the forum's rules. If any member sends you something that makes you uncomfortable, please report it.)
This change in the forum's policy is in order to foster a focus on the forum's three subtopics: Gaming, Art, and Animation. Of course, the main focus is on Flipnote Studio, which relates to all three. This has been difficult during the break between the closing of Flipnote Hatena and the delayed release of Flipnote Studio 3D. With the release just around the corner, however, I'd like to return to this focus in order to attract new members.
New Flipnote Hatena has over 1100 members, and the fan Facebook page for Flipnote Studio 3D has nearly 1700 likes--and climbing. It's clear that Flipnote is popular, and I'd like some of that popularity to come to Flipnote Forum. (Currently, we have less than 200 members, many of whom are inactive. If this is you, come back!) This will best be obtained by focusing on Flipnotes. So I hope that the members who currently RP will support me and the forum in moving forward.
