I'll start!
Sometimes there are grounds where no life should exist. Sometimes things should just be left untouched or left unquestioned. But, of course, humans and their greed for knowledge wether true or false will ignore such advisories. Long ago, it is said that acient tribes somehow cut of a large portion of land off the contenant becuase it was cursed. They sent it so far that no one could ever reach it. That is until technology improved. Nearly a 500 years ago, when man founded the land across the ocean, they decided to set up colonization upon it. But after a couple of centuries, a calamity sturck and only a handful escaped. They speak of monsters and demon, natural and unnatural desasters, people turing into abominations, and the kingdom being set there falling into ruins. Ever since that happened, no one would dare go back there to se what happened until recently. The current King ordered an expendition to scout the land to discover what happened and see if it's okay to habitate it again. He assembled hired mercenaries, some mages, some hunters, a crew from his navy, and a knight. they were given a ship and a large sum of rations to make the round trip.

Before they all wen on their journey they decided to gather on the docks to discuss anything extra that needed to be gone over. The leader of course decided on this. The leader thought that a meeting on the docks would allow everyone to say goodbye to their loved ones and also to let those loved one's know that shouldn't fret. One of the mercenaries named Shun sat watching the gathering for the side, sitting upon some barrels. His hair was white, he had a scar on his left eye which his pupil formed into a X, and he was shirtless, because it was just melting outside. Shun was a tactical fighter who wielded a unique sword with some enchantment that allowed the sword's blade to phase through objects, which only happened for one was wielding it to control. Shun lay back with his other luggage he would have to tug along.

The leader paced up to Shun. "Have you said your good-byes? We are leaving very soon," the leader said. Shun perked up his head at the leader, then looked away again. "My parents are all the way in the East. I don't think they are coming here any time soon," Shun spoke. "Well get your things ready. We got 30 more minutes until the ship sets sail." Shun sheathed his sword, then picked up his luggage and walked into the ship.

The leader, named Captain Skult, walked over to his appointed second-in-command, Knight Gorn, and conversed. "Hopefully everything goes according to plan." said Skult, "I pray their our loved ones no to worry. But I guess it comes with dangerous tasks like these." "Indeed." replied Gorn, "But I noticed some of our crew don't have loved ones to worry about failing. Namely most of the mercenaries. Like this one hooded fellow I talked to. His name's Marxes and he says that he never really knew his parents. He then traversed most of the world because that was all he knew what to do. He learned all sorts of swordplay among other cultures. He even showed me his custom blade that he devised from our sword designs to the one most far east. It's like a thin saber."

Skult turned around to glimpse at the hooded figure. "I see. If he's skilled enough, I'll probably account him for training some of other knights. Other than that, I'm glad the king hired the mages." "Agreed. It will certainly help us this time around. Rumors say that vicious dragons inhabit the islands." Gorn commented. "The thought of them worries me." "Who knows, maybe thats all a load of crap." Gorn chuckled, "Regardless, we definitely need to keep our eyes on the watch. We hired those snipers correct?" "Only five of them. The other two were actually spies." "Is that so? Well as long as they aren't puny little cowards, I'm fine with five." Skult laughed.

The little time that was left flew by quickly among the mingling and goodbyes; it was already time to board the ship. All the people then got on and set sail due west into a long and dangerous expedition that will lead to a more dangerous land.

As the voyage continued, the crew began noticing food was going missing. After a week, the captain began a stake out, to find out what was happening to the food. He fell asleep in the kitchen but woke up a few hours later to find a stow away taking some food.
(I figured I would try this. Sorry I made such a short post.)
