I don't hate Squirt per se...Just...I don't know. The content of Squirt never ceased to fluster up his fans that were all over him, and the content in perspective didn't offer anything new that could make me believe that I wanted to admire his work. You can say that about stick fights I suppose, but there's so much you can do with them with different fighting and such. With music videos, how do you diversify them? Just have an O.C. singing and lyrics on screen is about as far as it can go, although Japanese PVs push the limit, which are enjoyable to watch.

Alright, ill bite, Im not a big Squirt fan either (because even though stick figures were deemed lazy squirt found a loophole that required hats and audio from family guy, spreading the stick figure with some form of a hat trend while stick fights were still looked down on) but why do you hate him? Most stick fights that were found on later Hatena was mostly parodies of Boss's flipnotes, so no one knew who was the original animator. Plus, Squirt was more social and posted more than boss. I see most of the hatred toward Squirt as jealously if anything. I love stick fights and Squirt's stuff, so I hate neither side. Besides Hatena offered a wide aray of diversity when it was running. But now post Hatena Apocalypse, we as a Hatena family should focus on Sudomemo or fighting against Nintendo to get Flipnote Studio 3D instead of fighting about Squirt or any animator. Isn't this site part of a purpose to reunite! It's not that people are jealous of Squirt, its what he does that pleases so many of his fanboys. Personally, I never liked modern pop music. Nor do a lot of other people. But the only music videos I ever really saw on Flipnote Hatena were Pop Song Music Videos. Yeah, it's okay when you do it a couple times, but if you do it all the time, you start to get tired and want to see something, oh I don't know, with animation, rather than a bunch of stick figures posing with weird-butt effects everywhere. The thing about stick fights is that, while many people put random flashy effects on them, there is still some animation going on. And you can actually see more effort put into it instead of some cheesey music video. Take this stick fight for example. Now try to compare that to a regular, every-day music video. Anyways, when I first started making stick fights, I used a lot of effects, but they weren't that great with animation. At some point, my L and R buttons stopped working, making me rely on animation more and less on overused effects. If Squirt's L and R buttons didnt work on his DSi, they would probably not look very good. Hell, I tried making an MV once and I realized how stupid it looked. It's a stick figure music video with pop music in it for crying out loud. It sounds really dumb, doesn't it? Because that's exactly what it is. Also, we aren't "fighting" to get Hatena back. I'd be perfectly fine it never came out. I just came to this forum so I could talk to some people who have had a different experience than me from Hatena and meet some new people, not at all for "rebellion" or whatever the hell you guys are trying to do. And I'm pretty sure a lot of people on this forum can agree that we didn't come here for "rebellion" either. My apologies for being so harsh, but this isn't the kind of Flipnote forum site you're gonna want to "fight against Hatena" on. |

I used to have a TON of flipnotes of YouTube on a group channel but a 10 year old hacker deleted every video on the channel and I don't have them downloaded.

People are starting to post more on Sudomemo or Youtube, so you can find some flipnotes there! I know. I still have my DSi XL after all these years and I happen to use Sudomemo. A few of my older flipnotes as well as some newer stuff and stuff that I did post-May 31, 2013 that I never released before January 2014 are up on Sudomemo. It sucks that that the flipnotes I had on YouTube are gone forever and that I have to wait until and IF FS3D arrived over here. Those were some of my personal FAVORITES. One of them was the first known appearance of my famous O.C., MattBoo. |

Honestly the quality dipped pretty hard near the middle in my opinion in comparision the the series in general and the start of the movie. |
